Self PortraitIn this self portrait collage, I am trying to convey the type of person I am, and what I enjoy doing. The first layer was a photo of a sunset taken at a Skyline football game. It reminds me of a wonderful night in which I got to spend time with my friends, and watch Skyline take home the win. The second layer was a photo from the top of the empire state building in New York City. This represents my love for travel and adventure. The third layer of clouds was taken on a plane, which also represents my love to travel and learn new things. The fourth layer, which is not visible but there, is a picture of roses that I took at the botanical gardens. The roses represent how I like things to be beautiful in life. Finally, the last layer I used was a picture of lights taken in my garage, the place where I write and record music. Some effects I used in Photoshop to create this image was the eraser, the cropping tool, the magic wand, and the transparency effect. All together, this collage represents me, and who I am.

Double Exposure- Beauty WithinI titled this double exposure beauty within for many reasons. I have always thought that roses signified beauty, so the roses were perfect for this theme. I think it's important to understand that no matter how you look on the outside, your beauty on the inside will always shine through. I think this message is important because so many people struggle with appearance every day. Hopefully when people look at this photo, they too will realize that beauty comes from within.
Compared to my selfie, this has definitely improved. The layers are much better blended, and the overall quality of the photo is better. I also like the message a lot better in my double exposure. Not saying that my selfie was bad, but overall my double exposure was much better.
