Reflections
This is a photo that I think is very beautiful. I took it right when the sun was setting, when the colors were sprayed across the glass like water. The only problems I had were avoiding the glare from the sun and making sure that the picture wasn't too dark. Besides that though, I think this photo turned out very well. It has a lot of vibrant colors that really draws the viewers in.
Silhouette Sunset
I am a big fan of sunsets, especially beautiful ones like this. I took this photo by my house when I noticed the beautiful display that was going on outside. It was easy to capture this shot because everything was already where I wanted it. All I had to do was press a button. I think that there is a lot of nice stuff going on in this photo, especially the colors, shadows, and patterns.
Just Below Freezing
I know its hard to admit it, but this winter I did miss the snow a little bit. So of course when I noticed it snowing outside, I thought "What a great photo to take for photography class!" I think that the black and white filter I applied really helped with the contrast in this photo. The hardest part about taking this photo was the cold. My fingers were really stiff, and it was hard to see exactly what I was taking a picture of because it was so snowy.
Forest Wonderland
Nature in Ann Arbor is beautiful. I love all the different colors and vegetation that our forests have to offer. Some challenges I had taking this photo was getting the right angle and making sure the glare wasn't too bright from the sun. Also I thought that it was challenging framing wise to capture a good image. In the end though, I think this photo turned out pretty good!
Blue Paradise
This photo was taken in Florida over winter break. This was such a nice day, so it was easy to get a beautiful photo. I really didn't have any challenges with this one. I think the colors are amazing, along with the framing in this image. I also really like the vibrancy of the water and the trees.
